Dan Hosts McCorrie Point Beach Cleanup

20 SEPTEMBER 2008 - Dan Reillyhosted the cleanup of McCorrie Point Beach in Portsmouth as a part of the Audubon Society's International Coastal Cleanup. Administered by the Ocean Conservancy, and coordinated by the Audubon Society of Rhode Island, this event took place at locations throughout Rhode Island and was made possible by the efforts of hundreds of volunteers statewide.

Daniel Reilly Calls on Governor to Investigate Misuse of RIDOT by Rep Amy Rice

01 OCTOBER 2008 - Daniel P. Reilly, Republican candidate for State Representative in District 72 (Portsmouth, Middletown, Newport) today called upon Governor Carcieri to look into allegations that the State Department of Transportation removed campaign signs of several non-incumbent candidates from both the Republican and Democratic parties at the direction of Democratic State Representative Amy Rice, Mr. Reilly's opponent. Mr. Reilly and other candidates were notified of this incident by a Portsmouth resident who was upset that his First Amendment rights had been violated. Click Here to read more.
